Should you really feel sore after every workout? 🧐

I have a story to share with you!

Yesterday after teaching one of my regular clients, she told me that last week, she didn’t feel really sore after our training session together, saying “is it bad that I didn’t feel sore after PT last week?”

This was my response:

You don’t need to feel sore at the end of every session in order for it to be effective. Regardless of whether you’re sore or not, you still came and did a workout, you moved your body & you improved your headspace. That in itself is worth a lot more than ‘sore muscles’.

So, if you’re someone who is constantly feeling guilty for not feeling like, after you train your body isn’t sore or feeling like you ‘worked hard enough’, remember there is SO much more to moving & exercising that simply just feeling sore.

Think of that post-workout endorphin rush & how light your body & mind feel, think how much clear you think & strive to achieve these things rather than ‘sore muscles’ as a whole.

Trust me, it will be a game changer for you & will make training so much more fun! đŸ’ȘđŸŒ
