Is one workout a week really enough? Here’s what you need to know.

Is one workout a week enough?

This is a question I was pondering just the other day. I'm lucky I get to work with a lot of different women in different stages of life. Some are new mums, some are trying to juggle full time work with endless family commitments & some are returning after injury. One workout or class a week is often all they can manage and that is totally ok! ☀️

For other women who may find they have more free time on their hands (ok, let's be honest, none of us really do), they might be able to prioritise more workouts during the week. That is also totally ok!

The message I'm trying to get across is that we're all in different stages of life and we have different priorities. If one workout a week is what works for you now, that is great! However, if you can get in more movement throughout your week, I'll always encourage that- walking, jogging, swimming, running in the backyard after your crazy Golden Retriever (or is that just me?😅), it all adds up and it all makes you a more clear minded, happier version of you.

Of course, always listen to your body. I've found with myself & my clients, some days you need a high intensity workout to give you that endorphin high and other days, you need a gentle Pilates class to ease your racing mind.

You do you, listen to your body & if you can, try something new too!

How good are those post-workout smiles! These ladies train with us at least once per week and always leave feeling SO good!
